[P]ersonality:
She's the sweetest little thing to people's face, but she's a scheming devil underneath the childish facade. While she's blabbing her mouth off about something cute or sweet, she's cooking something evil up. She lives to ruin other people's lives. No matter what, she refuses to lose - she's selfish, competitive, and manipulative. On the bright side, at least she's got an angel's mask to hide everything, though her sharp tongue and crude wit breaks that.

[H]istory:
<sub>Abandoned at birth at a circus, Marianne grew up only knowing how to please an audience through charm and deceit. Early on, she learned who to please and who to ignore, and so she attached herself to the circus ring master, Julius, whom was smitten with her. Because the master loved her best, she was picked on by other circus kids. When he didn't watch her, they would throw her down and stomp on her until she was wheezing, screaming 'mercy'. Quickly, Marianne's will had been broken by the bullying. Living only for her performances and the circus master, she would contort and throw herself around without fear, relishing in the loud applause that would echo in her ears. Proud of her dedication, Julius gave her a bird to take care of, telling her to love it with her heart and soul. It was an Eastern Bluebird that would chirp sweetly at her, always silently gazing at her as if it knew her thoughts.

To avoid her tormentors, she'd climb to the top of the circus tent, perching herself on the metal poles that held up the plastic fabric. Her solitary moments were spent telling her bird of a future where she was admired and gasped at every day; she had traveled the world, discovered and explored, she was something to marvel at for the rest of history. She enjoyed those times, until she was discovered. They would throw rocks at her until she'd climb down and try to run away, or they'd send somebody clambering up the poles after her. The first time it happened, she had reacted with fear and scrambled away, right into the waiting arms of the rest of her peers, where they held her and beat her, spitting down at her. Trying to hold on to her dreams, she felt rage. So the next time they tried to hurt her, she brought knives. Standing on the support pillars, she struggled with the child they'd sent her way, until she slipped out her knife and brandished it to his face. "Stay away!" she had cried, certain he'd back off.

That was when she fell off the pillar. She had not seen the other kid who had sneaked up behind her, shoving her away. Her head met the ground and she snapped her neck, instantly dying. Her bird, which was the only attachment she had, fused with her soul, carrying her back to Julius whom traded her off to a smartly-dressed business man who offered a hard deal for her spirit. She was put into the tarot card of Magician, where her soul forever rested in the form of a bird whose only dream was to be famous and admired.</sub>
